Marijan Arman is one of the very few winemakers of Istria who can take pride in winning an award in 2000 at the national-level wine fair-Vinovita for the best white wine of Croatia.Of course, the award went to him for his Malvasia, but a few years later, he won a similar award for his red wine, Teran, which speaks enough of the serious intentions of this winemaker. Yet, new white wines, whether it be Malvasia or Chardonnay, are what make Marijan Arman recognizable among the consumers. Arman has refurbished his wine cellar in the village of Narduči in the Poreč area and recently, he opened a wine shop in the center of Poreč.
