Antolović has proposed a high quality extra virgin olive oil. This beautiful oil farm has been active since 1995 in the charming Grožnjan, in Istria. Its founder and owner Viviano Antolović runs 3 hectares of specialized olive grove with 1,000 trees of typical local varieties.
In the last harvest 200 quintals of olives were produced, equal to a yield of 24 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil. We recommend the Extra Virgin Monovarietal Antolović - Istarska Bjelica, which is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with green hues. Its aroma is definite and fruity, rich in notes of unripe tomato, banana and white apple, together with spicy hints of white pepper. Its taste is complex and strong, with a vegetal flavour of artichoke, lettuce and officinal herbs, especially basil and parsley. Bitterness is distinct and pungency is well expressed.
It would be ideal on octopus starters, bruschette with tomatoes, swordfish carpaccio, tuna salads, minestroni with vegetables, first courses with bluefish, boiled octopus, roast red meat or game, pasta filata mature cheese.
